All hunts require a $500/person/hunt lodge fee, which includes the following:

  • Fresh linens and towels

  • Stocked bathroom products (soap, shampoo, toilet paper, etc.)

  • Use of facility kitchen appliances and cooking utensils

  • Lodge internet, telephone service, and TV

Trophy Whitetail Buck

  • We have a large, healthy population of Whitetail deer for both management and trophy hunting. Many of today's top hunters consider the antlers’ mass, symmetry and forking when looking for a trophy. The number of points a buck has on its antlers is another indicator of a good trophy. Multiple points are also a good sign that a buck is mature. Of course, going by physical size perhaps the most traditional method of determining if you’ve got a trophy Whitetail. For some people, the thrill of the hunt is their trophy itself.

Axis Deer

  • The axis deer, also known as the chital deer, is regarded as one of the most beautiful breeds of deer, and they're a far cry from the native Texas whitetail deer.

Axis deer (scientific name Axis axis) sport an orange coat dotted with white spots--similar to that of a whitetail fawn--and white patches on their throats. They're classified under the Cervidae family, bearing resemblance to a number of other deer species such as the fallow deer. Axis deer males grow massive antlers, usually with three to six points, and can weigh up to 250 pounds. Adult females are usually a bit smaller.

  • 26 inches: $2000 (add $200 for every inch)

Aoudad

  • Aoudad, (Ammotragus lervia), also called Barbary sheep, North African goat-like mammal of the family Bovidae (order Artiodactyla).

This species has been inappropriately called a sheep, although recent genetic information reveals that it is much more closely related to wild goats.

The aoudad stands about 102 cm (40 inches) at the shoulder. It has a fringe of long, soft hair hanging from its throat and forequarters and has semicircular horns that curve outward, back, and then inward over the neck. Both fringe and horns are more pronounced in the male.

The aoudad lives in dry, mountainous, or rocky country and lives in small family groups. It can go without water for about five days. When threatened, the aoudad stands motionless and is concealed by its tawny brown coat, which blends in with the surrounding rocks.

  • $3,000/each

Whitetail Spike: A “spike” is a male deer that is 1.5 years of age or older and whose antlers are unbranched. A spike does not refer to fawns with bumps on their heads.

  • Doe: $200/each

    Spike: $250/each

*Must indicate the total amount intended to kill with ranch owner prior to hunt.
